Ketubah Jerusalem, Gold and crystal
"If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither; let my tongue stick to my palate if I cease to think about you, if I do not keep Jerusalem in memory even at my happiest hour."
The city of Jerusalem has seven gates in its wall, one of which is the gate of Mercy. Let us call then all by their symbolic names: Faith, Love, Friendship, Joy, Chessed, Kindness, Mercy.
Each of the Ketubahs I decorate with gold and crystals is different. What leads my hand I do not know, it is like a personal response to the connection I've had with the couple while preparing for the making of their Ketubah. As always in hand work, you can read me through my art, which is done especially for you.
