"Four Seasons" Papercut,

The cycle of the seasons, perennial with blossoms, bloom and ripening fruits, shedding of autumn leaves and blossoming again, is the essence of tradition and continuity, on one hand and of progress and growth on the other. Learning from the past, we apply our ancestors' experience and wisdom as well as our own, to the future. Where else do we learn how to live our lives, how to bear and raise our children?
The cutout design around the text space comes from Kurdistan Jewry; gazelles on both sides of the tree need no explanation, and the verses quoted are:
"As a lily among the thorns so is my darling among the maidens. Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the youth", Song of Songs 2:2-3.
"My soul is attached to you", Psalms 63:9. In Hebrew, unpunctuated, it reads both ways: as said to a man and as said to a woman.
