Ketubah - Lisbon, Laser

This unique asymmetrical design stems from the great tradition of the Lisbon Judaic manuscript workshop of the 15th Century, dividing the artwork area into segments within which calligraphic and floral elements play different roles. This genre of artwork was abruptly terminated with the expulsion of Spanish Jewry, and never continued. In my designs, I combine the Old School with my own inspiration, tying the tradition with the art of our day.
This design can be ordered with gold and crystals added by hand.
