The Seven Blessings of the Wedding
When planning a Jewish wedding, beauty and glamour serve a purpose: the ceremony should be impressive, memorable, lifting the souls to spheres of high festivity. A new home is being started, a new family begins its life, a woman and a man have found their "shidduch" in each other, and are now joined together in the presence of the community.
The exhilarating ceremony of marriage has in it many blessings and prayers, said from hearts overflowing with joy, hopes and uncertainties. Tradition has it that people close to the couple take part in reading the blessings, so that they share the responsibility and enhance the magnitude of the situation.
We offer a papercut ornamented set of the seven blessings, in a matching gift box. Each blessing has its own card, so it can be handed to the person honored with reading it.
After the ceremony, make sure to collect the cards back into their case, and save them for the coming weddings in your family. May you use them in joy and good health for many happy weddings!
